REPLAN Quality and Environment Policy

The company’s activities are the Metal Waste Processing Unit (collection-transport-sorting-processing) – End-of-Life Vehicle Dismantling (ELVD) and the trading of used spare parts and used cars.

The basic principle and commitment of the company and the philosophy of each of its executives is that the company’s activities are characterized by full compliance with the legislation and the achievement of the quality goals it sets with the ultimate goal:

  • customer satisfaction
  • avoiding the spread of cases
  • the correct handling of a possible or confirmed case.

REPLAN is committed to the use of good environmental practices in its activities, in order to combine the efficient implementation of services with effective environmental protection and implementation of Health and Safety Rules due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All activities are managed in such a way as to ensure the efficient use of natural and renewable resources and the maintenance of sustainable development.

Compliance with all regulations and legislation, continuous efforts to prevent the contamination of the coronavirus both among customers – staff, and among staff members, is an integral part of the daily activity of the business.

In order to achieve the above, the company’s Management:

  • It has adopted an integrated Management System (MS) in accordance with the International Standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 with Scope of Certification: “ELVD SOLVENT – METAL WASTE TREATMENT UNIT”.
  • It constantly reviews and improves the features of its services where possible, as well as the effectiveness of its Processes in relation to quality and the environment.
  • It monitors, measures and evaluates the critical parameters affecting Quality and Environmental Protection. It is committed to continuous improvement and pollution prevention by reducing the use of energy, water and chemicals in each of its processes. It also considers using the most environmentally friendly forms available.
  • It sets practical and measurable goals for quality and the environment. These goals are evaluated in terms of their degree of achievement by the Company’s Top Management.
  • It invests in the continuous training, information and education of its executives, so that they promote Quality and Environmental Protection in all their activities.
  • It applies all applicable legal requirements related to the company’s environmental obligations and has all the required permits.
  • It limits nuisances (odors, noise, particle emissions) and minimizes disposal of liquid waste.
  • Through its main activity it limits the disposal of solid waste and re-promotes for recycling ever greater amounts of solid waste.
  • Actively participates in the Alternative Management of special waste project both as a producer and as a manager (batteries, car tires, used mineral oils, old vehicles, old electrical appliances)
  • It has developed action plans and procedures to deal with emergencies, situations and disasters.
  • It has carried out an environmental impact assessment of the new projects, improvements and/or modifications it carries out.
  • It encourages its suppliers to provide environmentally friendly materials or services.
  • It takes initiatives for recycling, for environmental information, for new improved practices.

Adopting the principle of continuous improvement, the company recognizes and rewards teamwork, as well as individual effort, invests in people and respects the customer.

The company has implemented the necessary health protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees were trained on the use of PPE and the new health requirements. For visitors (customers, suppliers, partners) there is a strict recommendation to use PPE and a ban on entering the offices without permission to ensure health.
